General Manager

Multiple Locations throughout the Permian Basin region of West Texas

Large Properties - 400 to 900 rooms

We are seeking a couple of General Managers to work in a couple of our lodges located throughout the Permian Basin region of West Texas. Our General Managers are the senior leaders of the properties, so you will have full responsibility for the overall guest experience. Some of your primary duties include the day-to-day property operation, working with the clients that house their employees at the property, as well as the coordination of all front desk, housekeeping, and property maintenance. As the General Manager, you must ensure that all company policies are applied and upheld in a consistent manner at all times. This General Manager will have a team of 40 to 60 employees (depending on the size of the property) who report directly to you. The General Manager will ensure that all of this takes place while overseeing a unique property that will range from 500 to 900 rooms. The General Manager will work a rotating schedule of three weeks on and one week off. Your transportation to the property as well as all room and board (including a daily per diem for meals) will be paid for by the employer.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hotel or large property management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality management
  • Willing to live and work on the property
  • Optimism and a hardworking drive to succeed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the guest experience, including the ability to ensure a comfortable and personalized experience for each guest
  • Communicate effectively both with the guests and your crew members to achieve complete satisfaction throughout the property
  • Manage the Housekeeping Department with weekly turn down and weekly tidy-up service
  • Ensure that all guest requests are handled with precision and care
  • Build recurrent training programs for crew and be an exceptional mentor to all
  • Maintain the brand with consistency and diligence
