General Manager – Full-Service Hotel with Restaurant and Rooftop Bar
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee operations at our full-service hotel, which features a renowned restaurant and a stylish rooftop bar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide visionary leadership to all hotel departments, ensuring cohesive teamwork and alignment with the hotel's strategic goals. Mentor and develop department heads to achieve peak performance.
- Guest Experience: Champion a culture of outstanding guest service, ensuring all guests receive a memorable and personalized experience throughout their stay.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations of the hotel, restaurant, and rooftop bar to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies to maximize revenue opportunities and control costs. Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns that attract and retain guests, and boost occupancy rates.
- Human Resources: Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Promptly address maintenance issues to uphold the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community, including stakeholders, partners, and vendors, to enhance the hotel's reputation and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with a preference for full-service hotel experience.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, food and beverage management, and revenue management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in achieving financial targets and improving guest satisfaction scores.
- Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving abilities.
