Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description:
The General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations including recruiting, developing, managing staff, and creating a balance of an enjoyable and professional work atmosphere. The General Manager will be able to complete and transcend performance goals by managing food and labor costs, while ensuring the safety and health standards set forth by policy and procedural guidelines. A Professional General Manager will have strong analytical skills along with effective people skills and the capability to combine the two areas to create a highly effective, goal oriented, eager and dedicated staff working towards common goals.

Qualifications:

  • The General Manager should make themselves available to the restaurant at all times
  • Honesty, integrity and a love for customer satisfaction are all qualities that the General Manager should posses
  • A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements is required for the General Manager
  • The General Manager must be passionate in developing and mentoring others within the operation
  • 3 plus years of restaurant management experience in a high volume atmosphere is a must for the General Manager
