Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description: The duties for this position include but are not limited to: understanding the Company operations manual and responsible for ensuring all aspects of daily operations conform to franchise policies and standards. The General Manager will ensure that all products and food are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, safety and serving standards. The General Manager uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence and identifies and addresses trends and issues in store performance. Tools include; Monthly Status Report, Automated Labor Scheduling, Cash Management, Quarterly Business Review, and Inventory Management. Prepares all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner. Management schedules and conducts periodic meetings with employees to discuss and/or correct problem areas or areas of concern. Communicates regularly with company owners to create, execute, and monitor a business plan to focus on sales growth, staff development, and increased profitability. Most importantly as a General Manager, your eye must always be on ensuring all guests feel welcome, receive great service, and have an outstanding experience, every visit. A comprehensive training program for the General Manager consists of learning all the details of our business including food preparation, working the line, food safety, guest service and managing the numbers.
