General Manager – Elevated Culinary & Cocktail Concept
Location: San Diego, CA
Salary: Up to $120,000 base + benefits + relocation assistance
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead an innovative, high-energy restaurant and cocktail bar in San Diego. This role requires a passionate hospitality leader with strong operational expertise, a deep appreciation for craft food and beverages, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service and top-tier hospitality.
- Lead and develop a team of managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Drive profitability while maintaining cost controls on labor, food, and beverage.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, guest service standards, and health & safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the culinary and bar teams to maintain menu integrity and innovation.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and purchasing to optimize efficiency.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Partner with ownership and leadership on brand initiatives, marketing, and community engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, chef-driven restaurant or craft cocktail bar.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team development.
- Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality trends.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets, and financial performance.
- Experience with high-touch guest service and creating a unique dining atmosphere.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

During high school, Lucas began his career as a busser and moved up the ranks and was a part of the managing team within three years while going to college.
