Title of Position-General Manager

Job Description: As the General Manager all overall restaurant functions will be your responsibility. Maintaining excellent guest service, outstanding food quality and a fully staffed restaurant will all be top priorities of our General Manager. Recruiting, training and motivating the staff to perform successfully will be a joint effort between the General Manager and their management team. It’s expected that as the General Manager you’ll lead by example and encourage a teamwork focused environment in your restaurant. Our ideal General Manager will possess outstanding communication skills and leadership abilities. Administrative duties such as food inventory, product ordering, labor and cash control, P&L, scheduling, and budgeting will also be the function of the General Manager. Developing and enhancing the careers of your management team will be a constant responsibility of the General Manager. Monitoring and ensuring adequate facility management will also be a responsibility of our General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Three plus years of restaurant management experience in a high volume atmosphere is a must for the Restaurant Manager
  • A true desire to mentor and develop others is a trait the Restaurant Manager must posses
  • The Restaurant Manager must be proficient in achieving solid financial for the organization
  • The Restaurant Manager must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
  • The Restaurant Manager may be required to work nights/weekends/holidays
