Job Title: General Manager

Salary: Up to $91,000 per annum, plus bonus of up to $2,400 and a comprehensive benefits package

Urban Plates, a restaurant dedicated to delivering handcrafted, made-from-scratch meals, is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager for our Torrance, California location. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, a commitment to delivering exceptional service, and a passion for fresh, high-quality food.
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers
Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, creating a positive and productive work environment
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, upholding our commitment to high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
Manage operational costs effectively, including food, labor, and supplies
Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to uphold our standards of food quality and presentation
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
Review performance data and operational practices to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints professionally
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food service industry
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for fresh, quality food and creating a memorable dining experience
