Job Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in management positions in retail store settings, preferably Grocery Stores, Supermarkets.
• Required to be proficient in English and a second language (Spanish/Portuguese).
• Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft 365 package
• Organizational Skills, Multitasking Skills, and a sense of urgency

Job Responsibilities:

As the Store Director, your responsibilities would include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Supermarket.
• Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
• Establishing a strong local presence by supporting community activities and initiatives.
• Maintaining high store standards and conditions and fostering a positive environment.
• Ensuring customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
• Ensuring all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
• Managing and building a strong pool of employees, taking ownership, and managing accountability.
• Supervising and mentoring the middle management/leaders to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
• Coordinating with different departments to streamline processes.
• Overseeing the department leads in ordering, inventory management, margin control, and ensuring cleanliness and safety within their departments.
