Title of Position: Grounds Manager
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
Job Description: The position of Grounds Manager will be responsible for leading, directing and coordinating all aspects of landscape maintenance. The Grounds Manager will ensure the grounds and improvements are maintained to the highest aesthetic standards and help coordinate the team’s efforts with other staff and demonstrate a professional manner at all times. Daily oversight of all aspects of landscape maintenance and improvements including (but not limited to) trees, turf, ornamentals, interior landscapes, shrubs, tropical color plantings, irrigation delivery systems, and arboricultural work will be necessary for the Grounds Manager. As the Grounds Manager you will also be responsible to qualify, negotiate with and oversee contractors engaged to support the gardening operations; in a manner that is reflective of the aesthetic and service standards of the business. Overseeing and managing the grounds budget, including budget control, expense processing associated with maintenance and service, program changes, goals and future planning, will be required of the Grounds Manager.

Qualifications:
· Excellent knowledge of landscape operations, plants, plant health and maintenance, tropical floriculture design and irrigation management/maintenance is required for the Grounds Manager
· For the Grounds Manager, a High School Diploma is required, but a College Degree is preferred
· The Grounds Manager must have a keen attention to detail, honesty, adaptability, dependability, and a willingness to do hands-on work
· The Grounds Manager must have the ability to maintain a high level of strict confidentiality and professionalism
· A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required for the Grounds Manager
