Title of Position Head Chef

Job Description: We are looking for a Head Chef who brings a smile and positive energy to work every day! The right candidate for this job will also possess a strong background in high volume, full service kitchens. Duties will include but not be limited to: recruiting, training, mentoring and maintaining the highest quality culinary team available. Must be able to drive profits through cost analysis and have a strong understanding of P&L. The Head Chef will be responsible for all equipment sanitation and maintenance, and must be able to communicate effectively to delegate such duties appropriately, diligently following the strictest standards and procedures set in place. Our ideal Head Chef is flexible and a customer-focused individual who thrives in a sophisticated atmosphere while maintaining an approachable casual feel.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of successful BOH management experience is necessary for the Head Chef
  • The Head Chef must possess the ability to ensure proper food prep and presentation
  • The ability to delegate while maintaining control is required for the Head Chef
  • The Head Chef must have basic computer knowledge
  • Exceptional leadership and knowledge of food and beverage operations are required for the Head Chef
