The Role
In your role as Assistant Hotel General Manager, you will assist in overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel, manage staff on a day-to-day basis, and ensure optimal guest satisfaction. You will serve as a representative of our esteemed brand, providing leadership and strategic planning across all departments to uphold our culture of service excellence and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the hotel's operational functions as outlined in the Organizational chart.
- Regularly convene meetings and briefings with all department heads.
- Ensure strict adherence to hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Participate in key property decisions, including capital projects, customer service initiatives, and refurbishments.
- Handle complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures.
- Assist in preparing, presenting, and achieving the hotel’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget.
- Collaborate in managing the hotel's profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
Requirements
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with full-service hotel experience.
- Proficient understanding of P&L statements and the ability to respond with impactful strategies.
- Clear strategic thinking.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
