Our Director of Food and Beverage will oversee and coordinate food service throughout out property and restaurant. He/she will plan out & cost menus with the Food & Beverage Department for banquets, buffets, and salad bar. The Director of Food and Beverage will ensure menu items are in line with property goals. Hiring and training food and beverage staff & management is an essential part of the Director of Food and Beverage position. The Director of Food and Beverage will work with our BOH team to ensure food preparation and quality meets or exceeds our guests’ expectations along with making sure our kitchen meets/exceeds sanitation requirements. If any complaints about service or quality arise, the Director of Food and Beverage will oversee any investigation of complaints to ensure our guests are taken care of. This individual will review our financials and monitor their budget to make sure expenses stay within our budget. The Director of Food and Beverage will actively participate in Local Marketing programs to promote our property and dining options we provide.
- Minimum of 3+ years current experience as a Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Director
- Two or Four Year Degree a plus
- Prior Executive Chef experience in a Hotel/Resort setting a plus
- Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
- Must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
