Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description: Complete understanding of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting will be a large portion of the General Managers responsibilities. Past experience should demonstrate the ability to exceed guest expectations, develop and execute revenue strategies, and manage costs in order to meet and exceed financial goals. The General Manager will take ownership in all areas by putting in the time and effort required to fully understand each facet of the business. Leading a successful team and inspiring them to grow and meet their full potential is key to the success of a boutique hotel General Manager. Maintaining positive guest relations and ensuring that each guest has a memorable visit while remaining focused on the details whether guestroom, property maintenance or watching labor hours when occupancy is low.
