Title of Position: General Manager

Job Responsibilities: As the General Manager, you are expected to provide day-to-day leadership and direction, by maximizing financial returns, driving development of team members, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards, and building awareness of our hotel in the local community, all while maintaining operational and guest services standards as defined by our company. The General Manager must be able to analyze financials and data to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum return on investment. Use distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share. The General Manager must be able to develop programs that drive improvements in team member engagement and are aligned with the service philosophy as well as Handle all reputation management responsibilities for various websites, and promptly handle any complaints.

Qualifications:

  • The General Manager must be proficient in achieving solid financial results and be proficient in Microsoft & Adobe programs.
  • The General Manager must have the ability to read a P&L statement as well as follow all state and federal guidelines including OSHA Hazardous Communications Training and Food Safety requirements
  • 3+ hospitality/hotel experience preferred
  • 2+ yrs Management experience preferred
  • 1+ year of training experience preferred
