Title of Position: Household Director
Job Description: Responsibilities for the Household Director include overseeing the location’s housing accommodations, as well as conducting daily and frequent site inspections to ensure that the highest possible standards of safety, courtesy, cleanliness, and efficiency are met. The Household Director will also be responsible for physical appearance of the property and coordination with vendors for any additional cleaning, repair and other services for the property. Our Household Director will work closely with the owners in establishing ongoing operations, procedures, and programs for the location. The Director will also work with vendors for acceptance of deliveries of domestic items and carry out a variety of incidental tasks such as rental check-ins and checkouts, coordination of parties, events, conferences and charitable functions. Other tasks include maintaining safety standards, inspecting gardens, as well as yards and guest vehicles for any deficiencies and maintenance.

- The Household Director must have a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or another related field as well as 4-7 years’ experience in a hospitality role (plus prior staff management experience)
- The Household Director must be a leader that has professional communication skills
- The Household Director must be knowledgeable with Computer Competency (MS Word and MS Excel)
- The Household Director must be able to work independently, as well as have a full availability including weekends occasionally
- Remote property experience is highly desirable
