The role of the Human Resources Manager is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of HR administration with a strong emphasis on compliance, compensation and benefits, culture enhancement, safety, performance management, and employee relations. This key individual must exemplify organizational leadership qualities and possess profound knowledge of management-labor relations and the intricacies of Human Resources Management.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day administration and execution of Human Resource programs such as onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, employee recognition and engagement, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Handle employee relations, investigations, disputes, conflict resolution, and performance management matters effectively.
  • Provide human resources advice, counsel, and decisions to support management by analyzing information.
  • Ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business objectives and maintain consistent practices with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the annual review, preparation, and administration of the Company’s wage and salary structure.
  • Recommend solutions for leadership development, employee relations, retention, and organization structure, ensuring consistent application of company guidelines.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local legal requirements, advising management on necessary actions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, along with best practices.
  • Foster constant communication with departments to uphold a strong Human Resources presence.
  • Assist in recruiting and staffing efforts, including interview scheduling and application collections.
  • Uphold company safety and security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in conferences, educational opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Participate in committees and special projects as required.
  • Exercise sound judgment, confidentiality, and discretion in all HR activities.
  • Ensure ethical conduct to safeguard the company's assets and image.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as dictated by business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources management experience, especially in hospitality.
  • Proficiency in working with a non-exempt workforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Collaborative work style with effective cross-departmental communication.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong project management abilities.
  • Service-oriented approach with exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities, high emotional intelligence, and adept at relationship-building.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
