We are seeking an engaging HR Generalist to join our team and oversee various human resources programs for a luxury lifestyle hotel and spa. The ideal candidate should possess a broad knowledge of HR functions, from hiring to onboarding, employee evaluations, and compliance with labor laws. Responsibilities will include organizing trainings, administering benefits, crafting HR policies, maintaining records, and serving as the primary point of contact for employees' HR-related queries. By promoting efficient and conflict-free workplace practices, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee development, you'll contribute to the smooth and effective operations of our HR department. This position is on-site in Queens.

Responsibilities

• Administer compensation and benefit plans
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Undertake tasks around performance management
• Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• And most importantly, ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field require
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Knowledge of MS Office; ADP knowledge will be a plus
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
• Fluency in Spanish, Chinese, and/or Korean is a plus
