Job Description


In the heart of Scottsdale, AZ, there resides a world-class resort, synonymous with luxury and sophistication. This establishment is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to deliver exceptional support to its operations.


As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's human resources and talent strategy. This includes understanding the current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning - all crucial components of our Scottsdale-based operation.


You will provide guidance and support to our dedicated staff, handling complex issues that arise, including assisting with reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and managing employee separations.


Your role includes managing the talent acquisition process, encompassing recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants. This wide range of roles spans leadership, exempt, hourly, and professional positions, requiring collaboration with departmental managers in Scottsdale to understand skills and competencies required.


A key component of your responsibilities will be assisting with international recruiting and visa processing. You will become proficient in data entry into ADP and electronic file management, ensuring the smooth operation of our Scottsdale office.


As our Human Resources Specialist, you need to stay abreast with compensation, benefits, and employee engagement trends; researching and proposing competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure we attract and retain top talent in Scottsdale and beyond.


You will also develop initiatives providing internal development opportunities for employees, maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and uphold confidentiality within the Human Resources Department.


Other duties include maintaining inventory, ordering office supplies, organizing employee events, and managing the shared drive, all contributing to the efficient operation of our Scottsdale location.


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource administration experience.
  • Human Resources certification desired.
