Job Description
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Develop and implement seasonal menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback regarding food quality or service, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Participate in staff scheduling and performance evaluations to build a strong culinary team.
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
