Title of Position: Kitchen Manager

Job Description: The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the back of the house and all of its functions. The person will direct the activities of the hourly employees assuring cleanliness and sanitation, implement purchasing and cost controls, and follow up with corrective action when needed. The Kitchen Manager will ensure made from scratch food is made to specification and will perform and administrative and accounting duties according to company policy. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The person will impact these responsibility areas through the use of coaching, feedback and developmental skills, by providing vision and leadership to the back of the house staff.

  • 2 years minimum experience as a Kitchen Manager
  • Ability to motivate staff
  • A strong personality that will enforce standards and policies
  • High School Diploma required
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours at a time
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds at a time
