Title of Position- Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager
Job Description: Our Sous Chef will be in charge of maintaining all daily back of the house operations. Our Sous Chef will train the culinary staff to execute each dish with passion and excellence to ensure guests expectations are not only met but exceeded. The Sous Chef must be confident and have a complete understanding of kitchen operations, demonstrate organizational skills and have the leadership abilities to be available to your team and maintain all kitchen functions. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef with budget planning, back of the house financials, product ordering and enforcing health and safety standards. A Professional Sous Chef must be capable of fulfilling all areas of the Executive Chef’s obligations in his/her absence.

- This position requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager in a high volume upscale casual or fine dining environment
- The Sous Chef must be passionate about, and thrive on, the development and mentoring of others
- A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements is required for the Sous Chef
- The Sous Chef must be able to demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside of the work place and always strive for 100% customer satisfaction
- Open availability is a requirement for the Sous Chef

Greg likes to travel with his family, when he and his wife are not running back and forth from the hockey rink, basketball court, soccer and lacrosse fields attending their kids sporting events.
