Title of Position: Kitchen Manager/Chef

Job Description: As the Kitchen Manager/Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations on a daily basis. This includes creating and updating menu items, ordering and managing inventory, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for training and managing kitchen staff, scheduling shifts, and handling any customer or employee concerns that may arise. Additionally, you will work closely with the General Manager to develop new recipes and menu items, as well as collaborate with the brewing team to create food pairings for our craft beers. This role requires a high level of creativity, organization, and leadership skills to maintain the high-quality food standards our customers have come to expect from us. Furthermore, the Kitchen Manager/Chef must ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations, conducting regular kitchen inspections and training staff on proper food handling practices. Engagement in cost control measures, including waste reduction and efficient utility usage, is also a critical part of the daily tasks to maintain the profitability of our culinary operations.

Qualifications:

·       The Kitchen Manager/Chef should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef or Kitchen Manager

·       Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations and procedures is required for the Kitchen Manager/Chef

·       The Kitchen Manager/Chef must have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively

·       Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed is required for the Kitchen Manager/Chef
