Title of Position- Kitchen Manager

Job Description: Responsibilities of our Kitchen Manager will include managing all daily back of the house functions. Setting high standards and ensuring excellent food quality will be the main focus of our Kitchen Manager. Recruiting, training and developing the culinary staff will be an ongoing responsibility of the Kitchen Manager. Maintaining a sanitary and organized kitchen is an essential function as our Kitchen Manager as well. Maintaining a professional and productive environment for our staff is critical for the Kitchen Manager to expect excellent food and top-notch service. Leadership and coaching of our staff are vital as well as performing evaluations and providing routine feedback. Back of the house, administrative duties such as product ordering, food cost management and back of the house labor cost control will be maintained by our Kitchen Manager. Working closely with the General Manager our Kitchen Manager will form daily and weekly action plans, as well as maintain budgets and perpetuate a cohesive restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • The Kitchen Manager should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation
  • Honesty, integrity, and a love for customer satisfaction are all qualities that the Kitchen Manager should posses
  • The Kitchen Manager must be proficient in achieving solid financial results
  • The Kitchen Manager must be passionate about developing and mentoring others within the operation
  • A minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience for a high volume concept is required for the Kitchen Manager
