Are you a seasoned culinary professional seeking to lead a dynamic kitchen team? Our bustling restaurant in Matthews, NC, is searching for a dedicated Kitchen Manager with a passion for food excellence and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure efficient and timely completion of all kitchen tasks.
- Manage and Train Kitchen Staff: Includes scheduling, performance evaluations, and necessary disciplinary actions.
- Uphold Quality Standards: Maintain our high standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager to meet financial goals through cost control and menu planning.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and order supplies while controlling waste and spoilage.
- Guest Experience: Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional guest experiences, including accommodating special requests and resolving issues.
- Health Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a managerial role.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivation and coaching.
- Operational Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety and proper handling techniques.
- Inventory Proficiency: Expertise in inventory management and cost control.
