Title of Position: Bakery Production Manager

Job Description: This is a hands on position. Featuring hand-crafted, artisan breads, made daily. No frozen starters, no shortcuts, No preservatives or artificial ingredients! You must have heavy volume of dough experience including dough shaping and a pride in your artisan baking skills. The Bakery Production Manager would be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our production facility. This position would assist in scheduling all necessary partners in order to produce the required products within the budgetary guidelines, while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area through the kitchen, walk-ins and storage areas.


· Professional Pastry / Baking Degree or equivalent combination of training and/or experience

· Excellent team service skills

· Ability to execute high volume production

· Excellent communication and organization skills

· Excellent artisan bread skills

· Experience in ordering, inventory maintenance, and shrink control

· Ability to maintain an efficient operation and troubleshoot equipment

· Ability to supervise, train, and cross-train bakery staff

· Maintain sanitation standards throughout the facility


•High volume experience of 5+ years as a Baker / Production Manager is a must for this position

•A true desire to mentor and lead a team is a trait the Baker / Production Manager

•The Baker / Production Manager must have a proven track record in assisting the company in the achievement of solid financial results

•The Baker / Production Manager must have the desire of a true artisan baker
