Salary: Up to $95,000 per annum

Foods on the Fly is a reputable ready-to-eat food processing company based in San Diego, California. We are currently seeking a certified and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that our food products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. The successful candidate will be proficient in all areas of food safety and quality control, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and processes
Manage and supervise the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production process to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process that may impact food safety or quality
Lead in the development of HACCP plans and ensure their successful implementation and maintenance
Coordinate with regulatory bodies for inspections and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Prepare and present quality reports and statistical data to senior management
Implement corrective actions when non-compliance or quality concerns are identified
HACCP certification is mandatory
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a food processing or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of food safety and quality control principles in a ready-to-eat food environment
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Proficient in quality management systems and audit processes
Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
