Reports to: Human Resource Manager

Compensation: Up to $75,000 (Exempt)


Summary:

If you possess remarkable expertise in resume screening, interviewing, and have a comprehensive understanding of state and federal employment laws, alongside exceptional analytical, communication, and computer skills, this role might be the one for you.


The Recruiter will oversee the entire recruitment process for three establishments within the hospitality sector, which includes multiple departments across the entities. This individual will be the foremost contact for all departmental hiring leads, reporting to the Human Resources Manager and collaborating with the HR Specialist and Coordinator.


Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment operations across diverse departments.

• Collaborate with departmental heads to determine job requirements, craft job postings, and devise effective recruitment tactics.

• Liaise with financial officers regarding compensation structures.

• Identify potential candidates via company databases, networking efforts, direct outreach, and industry-specific research.

• Arrange and oversee interview proceedings.

• Facilitate background and reference verifications, in alignment with the HR Coordinator.

• Employ various recruitment resources to enhance the quality and quantity of applicant flow.

• Develop a broad base of candidate sources through community outreach and participation in job fairs.

• Engage closely with hiring leads to streamline the process of sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding talent.

• Interface with the Finance and Marketing teams for smooth operations.

• Present a weekly recruitment status report to senior HR and operational managers.

• Adapt to evolving responsibilities and other duties as outlined by HR and company leadership.

• Physical Skills: Must be fit to move between multiple properties during the workday, navigate various terrains, and perform tasks requiring mild physical exertion.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• At least 5 years of contemporary recruitment experience.

• Bachelor's degree favored, or equivalent experience.

• Credible professional references.

• Proficiency in ATS and a solid grasp of California and federal hiring norms.

• Advanced computer skills, especially in ADP, WordPerfect, and Excel.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• Excellent verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills.

• Discretion, sound judgment, and consistent respect for confidentiality.

• Treat all candidates and team members respectfully.

• Set priorities, function independently, and consistently achieve goals.

During high school, Lucas began his career as a busser and moved up the ranks and was a part of the managing team within three years while going to college. He grew up in a suburb of Roseville in Northern California, then moved to Southern California to pursue his successful restaurant management career. Lucas’s’ ability to see talent and passion for others makes him an exceptional recruiter.
