Description: As the Resort General Manager of our growing resort in the Chattanooga, TN area, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations from day-to-day staff management to guest relations. You will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service expectations while maximizing operations and overall guest satisfaction. You will be expected to make daily reports showing income received, rooms rented, rates received for each room, and expenses incurred as well as participate in all marketing and promotional activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent support to the success of the operation
- Manage day-to-day staff operations
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service
- Develop strategies that maximize profits
- Prepare daily reports showing income received, rooms rented, rates received for each room, and expenses incurred
- Participate in all marketing and promotional activities
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Hotel Manager is necessary for the General Manager
- The General Manager must have a proven track record in the hotel industry demonstrating the achievement of outstanding profit and guest service-related goals
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred for the General Manager
