Now, let's talk about your role as our Spa Manager. You're not just a manager, you're the driving force behind our spa operations. You'll oversee all aspects of our spa and related services - think staffing, reservations, guest service, and billing. But that's not all, you'll also be the go-to person for our team, stepping in and covering shifts as needed.

At our Resort and Spa, we pride ourselves on providing warm, personal, efficient, and anticipatory service. As our Spa Manager, you'll be instrumental in maintaining this standard. Not only will you lead by example for our team, but you'll also reflect our values to our guests.

Here's a glimpse of your day-to-day:

  • Wake up to the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, AZ
  • Working closely with the General Manager to supervise and provide positive reinforcement to our team.
  • Keeping a close eye on our quality standards and providing daily feedback to employees.
  • Reviewing staffing levels and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring open communication with management, employees, and guests.
  • Guaranteeing guest satisfaction and resolving any challenges that may arise.
  • Overseeing proper cash handling and billing procedures.
  • Participating in hiring and training new staff members.
  • Conducting regular training sessions to ensure a top-notch guest experience.
  • Managing group billing and communication.
  • Updating department documentation regularly.
  • Facilitating meetings and upholding facility standards.

As our Spa Manager, you'll also get to promote a team environment within our department and the resort as a whole. You'll even have the opportunity to cross-train and work in other areas as needed.

At our Resort and Spa in Sedona, AZ, every day is different. You might find yourself acting as a MOD (Manager on Duty) to resolve issues or carrying out other assigned duties. Whatever the day brings, we're confident you'll rise to the challenge.

In this role, you'll supervise a range of roles including Spa Coordinators, Concierge, Bell, Telephone Operator, Lounge Attendants, and Spa Front Office Supervisor. All under the guidance of the General Manager.

Don is excited to utilize his operational experience, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills to match talented people with fulfilling careers.  Don is married to his wife Jana and they both enjoy boating, beach, and golf.
