Restaurant Assistant Manager

Join us as an Assistant Manager, reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, bringing hands-on experience and a production-oriented approach to elevate our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the entire operation, encompassing both Front-of-House and Back-of-House functions.
- Execute the restaurant business plan under the guidance of the GM, ensuring EPIC customer service and exceeding guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard a team that embodies our core values and culture.
- Coach team members using Moctezuma’s values to establish a cohesive working environment and uphold standards.
- Develop and implement effective training plans to nurture a team of high-performing individuals.
- Ensure guest and team safety through rigorous training in food safety and adherence to restaurant safety standards.
- Manage hourly employee schedules to meet staffing needs and align with GM directives.
- Oversee designated duties such as inventory control, ordering, and financial management to drive sales growth and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Food & Beverage/Hospitality.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Customer-centric focus with a problem-solving approach.
- Energetic and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build positive relationships.
- Serve Safe Food and Alcohol Certification in accordance with local regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Comfort working various schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
