Restaurant Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the entire operation, encompassing both Front-of-House and Back-of-House functions.
• Execute the restaurant business plan under the guidance of the GM, ensuring EPIC customer service and exceeding guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard a team that embodies our core values and culture.
• Coach team members using Moctezuma’s values to establish a cohesive working environment and uphold standards.
• Develop and implement effective training plans to nurture a team of high-performing individuals.
• Ensure guest and team safety through rigorous training in food safety and adherence to restaurant safety standards.
• Manage hourly employee schedules to meet staffing needs and align with GM directives.
• Oversee designated duties such as inventory control, ordering, and financial management to drive sales growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year experience in Food & Beverage/Hospitality.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Customer-centric focus with a problem-solving approach.
• Energetic and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build positive relationships.
• Serve Safe Food and Alcohol Certification in accordance with local regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 40 pounds throughout an eight-hour shift.
• Comfort working various schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
