Title of Position: Assistant Manager

Job Description: The Assistant Manager is there to supply support for the General Restaurant Manager. The duties for this position would include but not be limited to: understanding the Company operations manual and is responsible for ensuring all aspects of daily operations conform to franchise policies and standards. Ensuring that all products and food consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, safety and serving standards. The Assistant Manager uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store and identifies and addresses trends and issues in store performance. Tools include Monthly Status Report, Automated Labor Scheduling, Cash Management, Quarterly Business Review, and Inventory Management. Management schedules and conducts periodic meetings with employees to discuss and/or correct problem areas or areas of concern. Communicates regularly with company owners to create, execute, and monitor a business plan to focus on sales growth, staff development, and increased profitability. Most importantly as an Assistant Manager your eye must always be on ensuring that all guests feel welcome, receive great service, and have an outstanding experience on every visit. A comprehensive training program for the Manager consists of learning all the details of our business including food preparation, working the line, food safety, guest service and managing the numbers.

Qualifications:

 

  • A minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience in a high energy environment
  • Analyze P&L statements
  • Professional presentation and demeanor
  • Strives to make a positive environment and provide outstanding dining experience.
  • The ability to think quick on your feet & multi-task is a must
  • We are extremely fast paced and high volume restaurant. Thus, a very high ticket count. We need candidates that understand this type of volume and that have the same experience

Following a move to Georgia with his family, Craig worked at Atlanta’s very own TacoMac- a high volume casual dining concept- where he served as Kitchen Manager, Manager and Corporate Trainer for over six years.
