Title of Position: Assistant Manager
Job Description: The Assistant Manager will provide operational support to the Restaurant Manager including but not limited to cost control, building sales, customer service, maximizing profits and employee development; Ensuring product quality at all times and an appearance of cleanliness in the restaurant and staff. The manager must maintain sufficient stock by ordering, receiving and accounting for all supplies dry goods, perishables falling under the scope of the Assistant Manager responsibilities. The person in this position will also be able to hire, develop and maintain restaurant personal, ensuring sufficient staffing by scheduling and using manpower controls systems. Part of the Assistant Manager responsibilities will include administrative procedures such as submitting daily, weekly, period-ending, and special reports as requested or performing preventive maintenance to systems, ensuring adequate repair of buildings and equipment as needed.

- Individual must have previous managerial experience
- The individual must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to calculate and analyze data, display effective leadership skills
- Effectively communicate with all levels
- Must be able to interpret Profit and Loss Statements
- Computer literate
- Able to assist with restaurant meetings at least twice each period for purpose of planning, training, and reviewing operations/management procedures and policies
