Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager
Job Description: As an General Manager, you will have a vital role in ensuring the success of our operations. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations while also creating a positive work environment for both employees and guests. This includes actively working on the floor to provide exceptional service, overseeing restaurant operations, and maintaining high food quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 25+ employees per shift, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and addressing any performance gaps. You will also play a crucial role in driving financial performance by adhering to budget guidelines and implementing operational efficiencies. Your daily duties also include thoroughly investigating and resolving any complaints regarding food and beverage quality or service, and establishing a safe working environment where proper sanitary and safety procedures are followed. Additionally, you'll be tasked with maintaining a professional restaurant image, including ensuring cleanliness, proper uniforms, and adherence to appearance standards.

Qualifications:
- The Restaurant General Manager must have a minimum of 1-3 years of management experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
- College degree preferred, but practical experience and education combination considered for the Restaurant General Manager
- The Restaurant General Manager must have strong knowledge of computer programs like MS Word, Excel, Outlook and familiarity with restaurant management software
- Availability to work nights and weekends with a typical work week of 50-55 hours is required for the Restaurant General Manager
- The Restaurant General Manager must be proficient in: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.

After many years on the road, Marty and his wife, Jill, settled in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where they are enjoying the life of empty nesters. He enjoys trips to see his grandson in the St Louis area and helps his wife at Fine Arts and Craft Shows to support her stained-glass business.
Since leaving operations Marty has much more time to devote to many activities with his synagogue and home improvement projects. He is a lifetime Red Cross Blood Donor (over 80 pints donated so far) and regularly volunteers his cooking skills for charitable events.
