Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager
Job Description: The Restaurant General Manager is a hands-on position with complete responsibility for all restaurant-related functions, systems and operations. The Restaurant General Manager will perform operational duties, supervise the management team and teammates' activities and ensure overall integrity of the restaurant. The Restaurant General Manager will be actively involved with achieving exceptional guest service, building sales and delivering sound cost results. This will result in timely, consistent and exceptional performance to the restaurant and its guests. In addition to the operational duties, the Restaurant General Manager will be involved in various human resource related functions including coaching, development and leadership. We expect this individual to be a positive role model for their team and to supervise and coordinate responsibility for the restaurants success.
- Minimum of 3+ years current experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a Full Service or Upscale Casual concept
- High volume background; must have GM experience in restaurants doing over $3 million in sales per year
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Outstanding work ethic and drive to succeed
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Ability to increase sales and build rapport in the community
- Restaurant General Manager candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)

Mike Tsirelis, 10+year Franchise Partner for the states of Alabama and Louisiana, brings over 25 years of restaurant experience to his role as a restaurant and hospitality recruiter. He began in restaurant management with KFC and Little Caesars, became a franchise representative, and spent 14 years with Lone Star Steakhouse, lastly as a District Manager overseeing 8 units. Prior to joining Gecko, Mike was an Area Director of nine locations with Don Pablo's.

Mike and his wife Dawn have four children and live in Cincinnati, OH. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and being involved in his children's lives.
