Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description: General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including sales, fiscal operations, accounting, recruitment, and maintenance of the building and equipment. The General Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing the revenue with the goal being to exceed budget and preserve cost-effectiveness and profitability in agreement with company policies. The General Manager will be required to prepare monthly reports for the corporate office and should have the ability to follow corporate office financial procedures, including but not restricted to; handling cash, credit cards, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and all other financial transactions. A large part of being a good leader and better General Manager is the ability to build an outstanding team around you, hiring, mentoring, and guiding the team to achieve success both personally and professionally.

Qualifications:
- The General Manager must be extremely guest-oriented with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
- Open availability is a requirement for the General Manager
- The ability to drive positive sales is a must for the General Manager
- The General Manager must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
- This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience as a General Manager

Brandon Payne represents Gecko Hospitality as an Executive Recruiter for the restaurant division in the Northern Texas market. Brandon started in the restaurant business when he was just 14 and enjoyed 19 years in both Quick Service and Casual Theme concepts. During his time Brandon worked his way up the ranks in Quick Service to become a General Manager in less that 4 years. After 6 years as a General Manager Brandon took another jump to a Casual Theme concept where he spent 8 years as an assistant manager, AGM, and the last 6 years as a Director of New Store Openings with over 20 new restaurants under his belt.
Brandon has a strong work ethic and possesses a passion for learning and training. He also has a true empathy for people. He listens to both the client’s and candidate’s needs in order to find the perfect match for both. He believes in building strong relationships through integrity, great communication, and reliability. Brandon will do whatever it takes to meet and exceed the needs of his clients and candidates.
Brandon lives in Denver, Colorado and is a lifelong Broncos fan, even though they have had a couple of rough years. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that Colorado offers, and his favorite hobby is working on his car and motorcycle.
