Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description: The General Manager is responsible for all around operation and is responsible for the P&L of the restaurant. This person will direct the hourly staff members and the Assistant Manager, including the Kitchen Manager to ensure compliance with company specifications for preparing food, sanitation and administrative and accounting obligation. The General Manager will be expected to lead their team of managers by assuring that they are motivating the team to work hard, be enthusiastic and to be excited about the restaurant industry. The General Manager must be able to mentor and develop other managers, as well as supervise and motivate the staff. The General Manager accounts for the development and training of all hourly and management staff in the restaurant, and must have extremely strong leadership abilities.
