Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager
Job Description: First thing you need to know as a prospective Restaurant General Manager for our company is this isn’t a typical restaurant job, we anticipate our General Manager to approach things differently, which involves establishing a superior bar for food, customer service and for the team. The success of the Restaurant General Manager will depend on their capability to keep team members focused and dedicated to our vision, from the front of the house to the back of the house. A background in creating meals from scratch is really a plus, being the Restaurant General Manager will be working side by side the Kitchen Manager to ensure proper kitchen operations are maintained. This Restaurant General Manager professional must possess the talent for effortless team work in a high volume, fast paced environment and complete understanding of restaurant financials is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years current experience as a Restaurant General Manager with a Full Service concept
  • High volume background - Must have Restaurant General Manager experience in establishments doing over $5 million in sales per year
  • Previous new store opening experience a plus
  • Ability to build sales and rapport in the community
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
  • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Restaurant General Manager candidates must  be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)

Steve is married to his wife Tracy - also a restaurant professional. Steve has a daughter Nicole, and two stepsons Robert and Joseph, all in their twenties and doing well. Steve was born, raised, and has always resided in Southeastern PA. He is a big sports fan. His hobbies are golfing and reading.
