Job Description
Job Title: General Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and profitable business performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability while minimizing operational costs and waste.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, health, and safety are maintained at all times.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and setting challenging yet achievable individual and team goals.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, gathering feedback and making necessary improvements to enhance their dining experience.
- Be responsible for all ordering, budgeting, and managing cost of goods sold (COGS).
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a restaurant management role is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in a fast-casual dining environment.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and team management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to meet financial targets and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of best practices for food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
