Title of Position – Restaurant General Manager

Job Description: Our Company is seeking a Professional Restaurant General Manager to assist the Executive Chef in creating a strong, consistent team environment while maintaining the day-to-day operational standards of the restaurant. The Restaurant General Manager must be able to evaluate performance and make decisive choices about promotions and terminations. Continual training and mentoring with an upbeat and positive attitude will be an important aspect to the Restaurant General Manager position. The Restaurant General Manager position will also require the right person to be able to communicate with vendors and be able to complete administrative duties including maintaining financials, inventory and staffing reports.

Qualifications:

• Three plus years of restaurant general management experience in a high-volume atmosphere is a must for the Restaurant General Manager
• A true desire to mentor and develop others is a trait the Restaurant General Manager must possess

·       Successful controlling of costs associated with running a profitable business such as food, labor and beverage is a skill the Restaurant General Manager should have

·       The Restaurant General Manager should have the ability to perform basic math calculations and understand fundamental accounting principles

• The Restaurant General Manager must be extremely guest orientated with the highest degree of honesty and integrity
• The Restaurant General Manager may be required to work nights/weekends/holidays
