Title of Position: General Manager

Job Description: The General Manager has the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations in all departments of the restaurant. This person will ensure great satisfaction, and show increased sales and optimum profitability. The General Manager will make daily decisions involving time management, staff scheduling and support, upholding product quality, cleanliness and all company standards. The General Manager will be responsible for building sales and maximizing profits by effectively recruiting, training, developing team members and will exercise excellent business skills and judgment in cost control procedures, and financial accounting, inventory levels, and labor management.

Qualifications:

  • The General Manager must have high volume restaurant experience of at least 3 years
  • A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the General Manager
  • A solid track record in achieving financial results is a must for the General Manager
  • The General Manager must live by a guest orientated philosophy and show honesty and integrity in all things
  • The General Manager should act as a “brand ambassador” for our company at all times
  • Must have experience with managing a bar – high volume 3M-7M – upscale with high end drink menu
  • High End Hotel Food & Beverage Experience a plus!

Andrea graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality.  She was also honored as a Top WIU Senior at the yearly National Restaurant Association Show.
