Career Opportunity: Restaurant General Manager
As a leading figure in our hospitality team, the Restaurant General Manager plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. We seek an individual with a strong background in restaurant operations and a proven ability to thrive in evening work environments. The Restaurant General Manager will oversee the management and daily operational functions of our primary Italian flair restaurant and adjoining cocktail lounge by maintaining a visible presence on the floor during peak service hours and gathering guest feedback. In addition, this individual will oversee all administrative, financial, training, performance management, and recruiting efforts for these areas offering assistance and guidance where needed.
Salary $75K- $85K
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless management of multiple outlets within a high-standard hospitality environment.
- Cultivate and execute strategies to elevate the fine dining and beverage experiences for our esteemed clientele.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service and uphold our brand's commitment to excellence.
- Drive operational efficiency and uphold the highest standards for quality and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the overall dining and beverage operations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- 5 or more years of proven management experience in a full-service and preferably fine dining restaurant.
- Prior experience working in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Micros Simphony is strongly desired.
- Extensive knowledge of fine dining, beverage, and exemplary service leadership.
- Bassett certification required

Prior to joining Gecko Hospitality, Kevin served as the Executive Director of Operations at Tribute Hospitality Management, LLC from 2019-2022. During his time there, he helped the owner establish the company, making significant contributions to the growth and success of the business. Before that, he served as Area General Manager at Interstate/Aimbridge Hotels & Resorts from 2018-2019, where he managed three hotels for a particular owner, one in Irving Texas and two in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
