Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description: Our General Manager has to be capable of managing day-to-day shifts and ensuring smooth, calm, and efficient restaurant operations at all times, including assisting in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy and reliability of transactions and can operate equipment with peripheral electronic data processing. The person in this position receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage items and products; maintain a solid understanding of product and services available in the restaurant. The General Manager ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products. This person must have product knowledge, having the ability to maintain and very easily communicate solid understanding of all services and products offered by the restaurant. It is incredibly important our General Manager understands the right way to hire, train and treat team members with respect and kindness while leading by example and confidence. A large portion of the General Manager position will be troubleshooting any issues arising in the restaurant, including problems with POS system operations, equipment problems, customer complaints, scheduling challenges, employee issues, etc.
