Title of Position: General Manager
Job Description: The General Manager helps direct the daily operations of our establishments. The person in this position would oversee profit and loss by following cash control, maintaining inventory, reviewing financial reports, and taking corrective action when needed. Our General Manager will play a major role with recruiting; interviewing and hiring outstanding team members along with their retention. The General Manager will be responsible for conducting performance appraisals while motivating team members to their fullest potential.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a General Manager in a high volume environment
  • The General Manager must be passionate about, and thrive on, the development and mentoring of others
  • The ability to drive positive sales and raise guest counts is a must for the General Manager
  • Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction is a requirement for the General Manager
  • The General Manager should act as a “brand ambassador" for our company at all times

Carrie also held a Regional Director of Stores role for 12 years overseeing the store operations for seven locations for Von Maur. One of her most enjoyable parts of her career was developing managers to be successful in their roles.
