Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager
Job Description: The General Manager is responsible for the overall functions of the restaurant. Our General Manager will need to possess exceptional communication skills. Absolute guest satisfaction must be maintained at all times by The General Manager. Ensuring company policies and procedures in addition to state and health department standards are implemented and enforced will also be the responsibility of the General Manager. Recruiting, training and developing sufficient staffing will be a constant priority of the General Manager also to be delegated to and shared with the management team. Strong knowledge of financial duties such as cost management and P&L will assist in maintaining a prosperous restaurant. As well as balancing current sales the General Manager will work within the community to increase sales and boost restaurant traffic. As the General Manager you will create and maintain a professional environment for the staff that’ s also welcoming and enjoyable. It’ s also essential that as the General Manager you will remain approachable and make the time for your staff and management team to address concerns and questions.
