Our Prestigious Restaurant in Boston is seeking a Restaurant General Manager with high-end, fine dining experience and a high level of wine knowledge to lead our team. This intimate, service-driven restaurant is known for its exceptional hospitality and elevated dining experience.
Our Fine Dining Coastal Italian Restaurant focuses on seasonal dishes highlighting the diverse cuisine of the coastal Italian region, drawing inspiration from the regions of Liguria, Sicily and Sardinia. Featuring a natural wine bar showcasing an extensive wine list focusing on organic, natural and biodynamic selections.
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a General Manager in a high-end, service-focused restaurant with a strong wine program.
- Proven track record of strong tenure in previous roles
- Ability to lead a team in a dinner-focused restaurant (Dinner: 7 nights/week, Brunch: Sat-Sun)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food service and hospitality.
- Train and manage staff, fostering a positive team environment and enhancing service quality.
- Implement effective inventory control and food management practices.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure exceptional food preparation and presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
