The Kitchen Manager spot is an overnight position and requires regular 3rd shift hours.
Title of Position – Restaurant Kitchen Manager
Job Description: Our Restaurant Kitchen Manager will be in control of our restaurant’ s kitchen operations and help continue to grow our consumer brand and loyal customer base. You must have an extremely upbeat attitude and be able to fit in with our very warm ambiance. As the Restaurant Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for running and controlling our cost centers including inventory control (produce & food cost). You will manage a large diverse staff with an emphasis on training, coaching and cultivating a team atmosphere. A Professional Restaurant Kitchen Manager will constantly lead by example, showing a passion for the industry and an "in no way settle" attitude contagious to your team.
- Ability to regularly work overnight required for this position
- Minimum of 2+ years current experience as a salaried Kitchen Manager or Bakery Production Manager in a high volume (over $2m per year in sales) Full Service concept
- Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on with hiring, training, and developing hourly employees
- Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
- Restaurant Kitchen Manager must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.)
