Gecko Hospitality is seeking a passionate and skilled Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. Title of Position: Kitchen Manager

Job Description:

The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing the kitchen’s daily operations and ensuring the successful execution of the restaurant’s culinary goals (food quality, profitability, and team performance). Key responsibilities include overseeing food preparation and presentation, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring consistency in all food items. The Kitchen Manager will also be responsible for managing kitchen inventory, controlling food costs, and developing staff to maintain high levels of productivity and morale.

In this role, you will monitor the kitchen’s P&L performance, analyze monthly inventory reports, identify areas for improvement, and manage operational expenses to optimize profitability. Your leadership will help ensure that we consistently deliver exceptional dishes while maintaining a smooth, efficient kitchen operation.

Qualifications:

  • The Kitchen Manager must have strong culinary skills with a passion for food quality and consistency.
  • Open availability is required.
  • The ability to effectively lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and inventory control.
  • Must be able to drive operational efficiencies and improve kitchen productivity.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or related kitchen leadership experience.
