Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our winery restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences, a love for food and wine, and an eye for detail. This position requires an individual who can manage the fine balance between the relaxed atmosphere of a winery and the fast-paced nature of a top-tier dining establishment.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure excellence in guest service, food quality, and restaurant cleanliness.

Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality menu offerings, incorporating wine pairings and local ingredients.

Develop and manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and implement training and development programs.

Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to the guest experience.

Collaborate with the winery's marketing team to create promotional events and special dining experiences that highlight our wines and cuisine.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with vendors to meet quality and cost objectives.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Handle guest complaints with grace and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Drive profitability by optimizing restaurant operations and financial management.

Collaborate with the winery's sommelier to enhance the wine selection and create educational opportunities for staff and guests.

Qualifications:


Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a winery or fine-dining setting.

Strong knowledge of wine, including varietals, the wine-making process, and pairing principles.

Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in restaurant management software and reservation systems.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in event planning and execution.

Financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and P&L statements.

A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
