Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: New York, NY

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a vibrant, high-energy restaurant in New York City. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and leading a team of dedicated staff to deliver a memorable dining experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong 
management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Supervise and train front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
  • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service by monitoring service standards and addressing any guest concerns promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure proper coverage during peak hours, events, and holidays.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels to support daily operations.
  • Monitor financial performance, including labor costs, food costs, and overall profitability, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new guests.
  • Lead by example, providing hands-on leadership and support to staff during busy service periods.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support ongoing training and development for team members.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and high guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume or upscale setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult situations with grace and professionalism.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, POS systems, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operational schedule.
  • Passion for providing outstanding guest service and creating a positive dining experience for all guests.
