Shift Manager Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shift Manager to join our fast-casual Texas BBQ restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a Shift Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager and General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high food quality standards. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their leadership skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Shift Manager
- Operational Leadership: Assist in managing shift operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Support the team in maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. Handle cash handling and register procedures accurately. Ensure shift transitions are seamless and efficient.
- Team Support & Development: Lead by example and provide coaching to team members during shifts. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Assist in training new employees to uphold brand standards.
- Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure food is served with consistency and quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce all company policies, food safety procedures, and health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and report needs to management.
What You Bring to the Table
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role (preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Passion for food quality and guest service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Brandon started in the restaurant business when he was just 14 and enjoyed 19 years in both Quick Service and Casual Theme concepts. During his time Brandon worked his way up the ranks in Quick Service to become a General Manager in less that 4 years. After 6 years as a General Manager Brandon took another jump to a Casual Theme concept where he spent 8 years as an assistant manager, AGM, and the last 6 years as a Director of New Store Openings with over 20 new restaurants under his belt.
Brandon has a strong work ethic and possesses a passion for learning and training. He also has a true empathy for people. He listens to both the client’s and candidate’s needs in order to find the perfect match for both. He believes in building strong relationships through integrity, great communication, and reliability. Brandon will do whatever it takes to meet and exceed the needs of his clients and candidates.
Brandon lives in Denver, Colorado and is a lifelong Broncos fan, even though they have had a couple of rough years. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that Colorado offers, and his favorite hobby is working on his car and motorcycle.
